Great That’s Questionable! You raised some really good questions. I think sometimes the people you would least expect to be “evil” usually are the ones that we should look out for the most. It is interesting to me that in all the “scary” movies the “evil one” is blatantly evil looking. In real life it doesn’t seem to work out that way, huh? Wouldn’t life be alot easier if we knew who to look out for?!

How interesting that you found this! I always had Barbie Dolls growing up. I always remember changing their clothes. I wonder if these Fulla Dolls have different robes for the children to change out. And I wonder what is under the dolls. Are their bodies realistic like the american Barbies?

I really like your analysis of the film, especially your personal reaction. I think this is a great example of what editing can do to a film. The gloomy weather, it being dark, and the music give you a sense of sadness. For example, if you took the music away, this scene may come off differently. Also, your critical analysis is good as well. I like how you can tie in the Red to death by the end of the movie. The connotation for the red color would be death. Great work!

Great subculture in Reno. The religious tattoos always seemed to confuse me though. For instance I’m catholic (not a very good one, but whatever) I have friends who have religious tattoos, but at the same time as identified in the old testament it’s supposed to be a sin. So not that I’m trying to get all wierdo religious on your subject, but to me it always raised the question. Is the tattoo more for the person or, to demonstate his/her faith. So I guess what i’m saying is I always thought of religious tattoos more so for the individual as opposed to their devotion to there faith. But like I said perhaps it’s just because I’m uneducated in this subject. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
